Who we are
Ethos Aurum Maison is the trading name of EAM Ethos Aurum Maison Ltd (RC 9606536), Suite 60, Faith Akepede Plaza, opposite Master Care School, behind Macdons, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. We decide how the personal data described here is used. Write to orders@ea.maison about anything on this page.
What we collect, and why
- When you order: your name, email address, WhatsApp number and delivery address. We use them to take payment, deliver the piece, send your receipt and tell you where your order is. This is needed to perform our contract with you.
- When you pay: payment is handled by Paystack in its own secure window. We never see or store your card details. Paystack tells us whether the payment succeeded and the amount.
- If you open an account: your email address, a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, and the details you choose to save for next time.
- If you join the house list: your email address, the date and your consent. We send letters about new pieces, roughly once a month. You can leave at any time from any letter or by writing to us.
- When you message us on WhatsApp or by email: what you send us, so we can answer.
- Cookies and measurement: only if you press Accept on the cookie notice, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel count visits and purchases so we can see which advertising works. If you press Decline, they do not load. The site also keeps your bag, favourites and cookie choice in your own browser.
Who else sees it
Only the companies we need to run the shop: Paystack (payments), our courier (delivery), our hosting provider, our email provider and, if you accepted cookies, Google and Meta. We do not sell personal data. Some of these companies store data outside Nigeria; where they do, we rely on their contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years for tax and accounting. House-list addresses are kept until you leave the list. Account details are kept until you ask us to close the account.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to move it, or to stop us using it for marketing. Write to orders@ea.maison and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with its date.
